Although letters of inquiries are not required in the Application Process, you may submit one in order to receive a determination of which category to apply in. A letter of inquiry, however, will not be accepted in place of a grant application or grant request.
> A letter of inquiry need only be a page or two with a brief description of the mission of the organization and the purpose of the project for which funding is being requested.

Yes, the Norris Foundation does fund General Operating Support. Other types of support include but are not limited to:
Project Support
Equipment Purchase
Capital Fund Support
Endowment
Scholarship (individuals may not apply)

> Although we prefer that an application be received in the office by the application deadline, we do accept proposals that have been postmarked by the Post Office on the due date.

Currently, the Norris Foundation is NOT funding independent film/video projects. Even if the program is under the auspices of a Fiscal Agent.

Determinations to accept a request from a Fiscal Agent are made after preliminary review of the request and its Fiscal Sponsor.
